woke up slightly earlier today..
lucky dad's service ended late.
so i could sleep more.. =x

met him at plaza singapura..
he looked so cute just standing there..
holding his bible bag and waiting. lol.
its times like this..
that make me realize how much i love em.

dad's a vegetarian so had problems
finding sumwhere to eat..
he was so hungry that he got despo.
lol. he was finding that shop at b2..
that sells cai tao kueh (carrot cake)
the shop's gone le tho.. haha.

ended up i ask him if he was keen on pasta.
he prolly was so hungry he just walked
into pastamania straight! haha.
he usually doesn't like italian food. lol.

got him al fungi spaghetti..
and a share of bruschetta.
while i had beef lasagna. *drools*
haha. i love lasagna + extra cheese. =p

after eating we just went to walk around..
apparently he wasn't keen on the phone
skin wrap (g-mask) at all..
seems like he just wanted to go out
and take a walk. haha.

managed to iron out some bugs..

den brought my parents out for lunch..
went to lor 29 there.. some earth restaurant.
serves some healthy vegetarian food.

the food was pretty good. pricey tho.

first i managed to fix my wc3!
it was a graphic card error.. and all it took was
the -opengl switch. bleh..
had a quick game of dota. haha.

i den met k and took a bus to boat quay..
supposed to meet bal and our pl cmdr.
but bal ended up gg wif his dad to some..
english club for his party.
and we couldn't contact our platoon cmdr.

so lonely us.. me and k roamed around..
met sw outside rage, but he was wif his frens..
so we made a hi-bye wif him and me and k
ended up in a ktv pub along south bridge rd.

both of us just shared a bucket of beer..
but we had a whole damn lots of fun..
i really enjoyed myself tonight. lol.

yesh.. finally out at the end of the week.
friday book out! haha. happy i am..

pretty busy week. heck of a lot of stuff to do.
arts and crafts especially. cutting and sticking.
i dun like crafts. its mundane to me.

on wednesday i went out to go for my
physiotherapy appt at mmi..
it was raining so heavily so i took a cab..
but still got drenched walking out of camp tho.
i didn't know where it was so we went in
circles.. lucky for the patient driver. =)

it's still a military installation.. so got those
kinda sign in and sign out stuff. haha.

anw met my physiotherapist.. talked..
did some simple exercises.. den i was put
on some physio treatment called..
erm. cervical traction (i think so)..

basically its this machine that pulls ur neck.
yup. like u lie down and it pulls ur head..
at the end of 20 mins it felt like my entire
neck was numb and tired.
but after a while.. my neck stopped hurting.
no neckaches for an entire day. xD!

went to eat and buy sum stuff at lot 1.
met my dear cousin shiying while eating..
den back to camp..

they had nights out that night..
but i was too lazy to go.. so chatted with shane
and watched 100 girls on fiz's psp.
funny and sexy show. haha.

my relatives from canada are in town..
they're leaving this sunday tho..
hope to get a chance to see them before they go.

i managed to get up at 745am.

went to agape church with parents..
i thot they went there before!

entire walkway. paisae. corrected position.. dozed off again.

asleep. so he hade to wake me up. paisae again.
10:16 - moved into the window seat and.. shiok. snoozed..
10:50 - woke up. omg. i didn't know where i was. thought i
missed my stop le.
10:52 - finally reorientated myself.. little india. good.

11:06 - alighted at code 4 center.. walked home.

i ordered a shark fin soup + horfun set..
sp had some seafood stuff. no idea what.
my sharks fin was delectable. yummy! =)
and it came with scallops and chicken shreds..
while the horfun came with hei bi hiam chilli.

i went to ezone to play lan while waiting..
played dota myself. learning to play. haha.
i know its like this zuper old game..
but i'm only picking it up now. =p

the lan game there is like prepaid.
so have to pay first..
and for a fixed time period. so sian.
my slot time was up before game ended..
bleh.

was going to somerset mrt to meet bren
when i decided to go see if hm works there.

she does!
i met her along the walkway of level 2.
lol. lucky. a while later and i'll have missed her.
cause she was walking off to sumwhere.
we chatted a while and den i went to the station.

met bren and went to heeren again to shop.
but guy and guy.. honestly. its so difficult to. lol.
lobo around before we went back to cine.
had dinner at pastamania.. alfredo penne.
how typical of me. haha.
den went to k pool.

on the way up met hm again.
asked if she wanted to join us.. lol.
i think my social circle is so so small.

orchard is like FULL of babes today?
oh man. it was so difficult to concentrate
on our pool game.
so many hawt chics around. =x

had a great few rounds with bren..
tho the tables there kinda suck.
it was like playing on carpet.
the table surface was just too.. furry?
but the color + chalk was a good idea.
skin color. so kenna hand can't see also.

went to the hotel next door after that..
is it called the meritus mandarin?
they got this lounge called mezebar.
apparently bren and clay hang out there before.

pretty chic and nice place.
good service too.. there was a live band..
but the singing. er. only acceptable la.

i had a draught guinnes stout..
and bren had corona with lime.
they gave wasabi potato chips.
love em. haha.

woke up this morning at 7.

cause we were so freaking late.
10 bucks to bedok sports complex.
pretty pricey.

its quite near r's place.

there is only one empty court.
i was still wondering where COURT1 was.

okay my dad is 55.
but he so so damn owned me at the game.
his knee got a little weak though..
you rock at the game dad.

and guess who we met halfway?
my dad's secondary school teacher.
he's 71. and playing badminton.
and guess what?
he's monster kill quality.

and den we rested and chatted with
the lao chek. lol.
tts what i'll call him if he wasn't my dad's teacher.

and he (at 71) has a kid in secondary 1.
that so damn impresses me and my dad.
he married at 50. and he now has 3 kids.
power.

met his wife a while later..
den his wife, a friend, my dad and i
played doubles.
i so damn suck it always ends with our side
under 5 points. =x

anw during the game.. i ran across my half
to save a low hit..
and my dad nearly smacked my head.
i had to duck and it was so so close

phew. lol.

was cleaning up after the game

we had the longest phone call since brunei.
8 minutes.

there was no need to talk face to face.
i said perhaps we could meet for supper
after she* sends denise off to australia.

she* said the petals wanted to talk to her.
and she* was going dragonfly with him
and the citibank folks after that.
no time for me.

aw. freaking tired today.
slept around 7am yesterday..
and crawled up at 1pm.

last night she* insisted we talk online.
oh well. can't really talk too.

will get to her* when she* goes online again.

i think i'm overstaying my welcome
with my friends.

my first lonely saturday

got up late today..
crawled out of bed around 12.

got showered and met my parents
and we drove to parkway parade.
went to this sports shop called gallen sports

bought two new prince badminton rackets..
costing about $80 bucks apiece
and a shoe for dad about $50 bucks.
i love the new rackets. redid the grip for free.
the total bill came up to $200 plus..
there goes a large chunk of my gst offset package.

came home and took bus 80 to vivo.
walked around and den went pet safari to find xy.
she looks so different without glasses. haha.
lingered a while.. den i had a very late lunch of
bacon cheeseburger + chilli cheese fries
at superdog!

oh anw i just realized yesterday..
xy changed her blogskin.
to the one that r used to have. lol.
wad a coincidence.

i think the chilli cheese fries were pretty good.
the fries was the thicker kind. not the shoestring ones.

went to sim lim square to meet hermy.
bought some of his stuff then i went to look at the
samsung k3 mp3 player.
cool stuff. 2GB for $170.
but i spent too much in the morning..
so didn't have enough to buy the player.
nevermind. gotta pay 2% more next time tho. *pouts*

me and hermy went to orchard to meet da tt23 folks.
and as usual they were late.. so we went to wheelock
for a drink and something to eat first.
finally an hour later we met zivx, wendy, jj and clay.
zivx got a really nice hairdo.. little perms. lol. sweet.

we went shopping at far east..
den kok came and we went to food republic for dinner.
originally didn't wanna eat coz of the superdog meal
but later gave in and had a fried carrot cake.
thanks zivx for being so nice and sharing ur fish soup.
and hermy for sharing the dumplings.
i feel like such a glutton. =x

after the meal we went to "chill" at indochine.
okay the irony is, indochine is freaking warm.
the fans don't really do a good job at chilling the place.
zivx left first to meet her friends.

anw we ordered two buckets of tuborg..
the tuborg babe was pretty hot btw.
and wendy ordered some hoegaarden for herself.
tuborg is not bad. i like the taste.

three bottles later.. we decided to go off.
wendy and kok both going to meet their friends..
anw heard wendy just broke up too. cheer up baby.

i walked with kok to cineleisure..
den remembered that j & ron should be watching
transformers with her* and the guy.

so i walked to plaza sing
and tried to call j & ron.
just nice they finished their movie..
so me, j, ron and ron's brother
went to this bencoolen street coffeeshop
to get a drink and some stuff to eat.
derrick watched the movie with em.. but left first.
anw they said mao* and the guy was not with them.

tried to contact her*..
later she replied she was at the chalet.
was originally asking her out to club. but she's wif him
at wp's 21st birthday chalet. sad.

anw after the drinks..
they couldn't decide what to do.
so guess what we did?
we went to explore singapore..
explore what? cemeteries.
oh man.

it was the most freaky and eerie experience of my life.
GOD it was SCARY.
i FREAKED out all the way.

first we went to lornie road cemetery.
okay this was a dark dark and no road cemetery.
we stayed outside the gate a long long time before
deciding to venture in.

we stopped at a little hut a little in from the gate
and den gave a small joss stick offering.
then we drove along the place and.. aw man.
i dunno what to say.
we got out (at last) and i tot it was like.. WHOA.

den they felt it wasn't enough.
so we went to lim chu kang.
stopped on the way at al-ameen to get drinks and ciggies.
and to use the toilet cause we got too tensed up. =x

on the way drove past mao*'s house.
got me upset again. hai.
finally got to lim chu kang cemetery after a long drive.
gotta know where all those farms and fisheries were.

okay this place was like 10 times spookier.
the tombs were HUGE.

anw we did the exact same thing..
rove around. we saw lots of cyalum sticks (light sticks)
along the path. so i thought the army was training there.

then... as we followed the sticks..
we encountered this huge cycling convoy.
man! they were night cycling in the cemetery.
what can i say? lol.
and there were some hot babes too. gawd.

got kinda lost with j navigating (explains why we got lost)
and ron driving and trying to figure our way around.
lol. at long last, we rejoined with the cycling group
and became part of their convoy till we left the cemetery.
took a smoke outside and was headed home..

until they saw the qian hu fish farm cemetery..
and decided to take a short drive again.
i think they're nuts. they were like..
"eh! bong tiu!" (bong tiu = cemetery in hokkien)
and got so totally excited.

bleh.

on the way back they couldn't stop their spooky stories..
all the way till i got home.
argh. now i'm kinda spooked. freaked out.

i'm a timid freak. lol.
its a known fact..

anw today got upset over her* quite a lot of times.
found that i miss her lots..
and i still wish we were together.
or at least we talked.
i don't know.
i know i said i wanted to let go but its just so hard.

*sigh* i made it past my first lonely saturday..
look forward to clubbing. i need the crowd. the adrenaline.
lets see if my platoon can keep to their new mos plan this time.

tmr's a good time to rest my freaked, tired and aching body.
family day too.. should spend some time with my parents.
