after some hasty planning
we went to partyworld somerset,

jamie and bren joined us.









home @ 4am.

last saturday

i joined this community service project.
called starringSMU.

was really tired. slept for 3 hrs?



went for the orientation day.

the usual embarrassing stuff applies.
like dancing in front of fort canning.

but the people were great. =)

last sunday

went for service,
then did something crazy after.

the aftermath of aches.
its the most tiring game ever.

monday

finally signed my scholarship deed.
yay! =)

met kaiqi and hanen
for haagen dazs at century square.

ice cream fondue. =)

after that we went to watch

tuesday

went for starringSMU.
we learned samba and drums.

for some samba walk thing.

went for starringSMU again.

i didn't know matriculation

and now my mind is filled
with dates of all sorts.

as crammed as..
i don't know. sardines?

my brain has decided to
go on strike!

still need to go back again today.
smu, definitely not love at first sight.

i took the qualifying english test today.

a very misleading name
for such a challenging paper.

but then again,
my english standard could be, well,
not up to standard.

chance of passing - 10%

which means..
chance of exemption - 10%

so i guess i've just enrolled myself
into an academic writing module.

how disappointing. =(

i met fayth after the exam
and bought some insurance stuff.

anw, in happier matters,

i visited jason's marketplace and bought
two bags full of junk food for cell.

kettle jalapeno, honey mustard chips,
tostitos, tgif quesadillas..

and a bottle of muscato. xD

went for cell at johan's..
total wii-madness!

rebecca and ruth made pasta
and soup for dinner.

they were delicious. =)

today.. is just another day riding
on the happyness see-saw.

happyness

happiness is a fleeting emotion

so transient and capricious
its always gone in a twinkle,
and back in the next.

thats the way my life has it.

erratic circumstances of late
has seen me playing

the ecstatic-melancholic see-saw.

unpredictability and life are
bed partners with much in common.

take wednesday afternoon,

shopping and dining
(think ikea meatballs)
in the company of two great friends.

and wednesday night,

grudgingly returning to camp while
plagued by an x-ray induced headache.

then thursday night,

out clubbing with the most unlikely people,
to a most joyous outcome.

happiness does not rely on
fame, fortune nor hard work.

the more you seek it,
the more it evades you entirely.

self help gurus preach zillions
of ways to achieve happiness.

they mean zilch to me.

the fickleness of happiness,
we're all at its mercy.

so by faith i shall kneel and pray,
that GOD bless my every day,

with hope, love, peace and joy,
each new day i shall enjoy.
