supposed to be a busy day.
but most were eventually cancelled.

met herm & gf, jj, kok + wendy at ps.

after dinner headed to timbre..
met mc, meiting + clay & gf..

long time since we all met up. =)

sunday

went for service..
den rush back home for the ikea guys.

haha. my new furniture has arrived!

the rare game

went to st. wilfred field today..

soccer with my platoon.
okay i rarely play.

in fact, almost never.

so obviously i suck at it.
thankfully my platoon understands.

got terribly sunburnt. =(

anw after that me + dad
went to ikea to get my furniture.

hmm lucky i was prepared.
more or less decided.

so after a quick browse..
we went to the self-serve section.

now den i know how much it sucks..
to have to carry your own boxes
of flat, prepacked furniture,
even though we had trolleys.

some were (real) heavy.
took both me and dad to manage.

i wonder how petite ladies would fare.

end up still had to use two trolleys. =/
we figured ikea delivery would be good.
thankfully nvr borrow johan's van.

its not the driving or loading.
its the unloading and carrying up to my hse.

there were like.. 12 or more pieces in all.

anw i can't wait to see em assembled.

wednesday

brought sy + han out to msquare..
lunch at cafe cartel.

for some funny reason i ordered the..
st louis pork ribs.
really don't know why. cos..

i don't eat pork.

so i was like cutting the meat..
and feeding it to sy and han.

sorry! >.<

i tried eating a few mouths..
but. ugh.. disgusting.

den it was time for kbox!
our timeslot was like 3pm - 9pm.

we were like huh? so long?

vocal stamina lacking..
we left an hour shy of 9.

dinner at gelare..
waffles + ice cream..

sweet. =)

thursday

stayed home for body maintenance.

nursing my recurrent flu + fever..
my 4th episode in 3 months. =(

friday

met hm for movie + dinner..
went ps to catch..

what happens in vegas.

it had an excellent plot..
quite funny.. but expected ending..

but because of cameron diaz..
i'm giving it like 5 glittering stars.
=p

after the movie went shopping..
looking for mother's day presents..

den off to dinner at my fav joint..

dan ryan's chicago grill!

it took considerable effort to walk there tho.
but nevertheless still on time.. haha.

anw no matter how little we ordered.
it still seems to be wayyyyy too much..

couldn't finish it all in the end.

we left for home as two bloated pigs.

lately i'm going gaga over funny stuff.

first is champagne.
i'm falling in love with this bubbly stuff.

i'm amused by everything rosy.

taiwan the end

after the [censored] taiwan exercises..

we went to taipei for our short break.

on the way we kept going theme parks.
hmm like 3 in total.

and i got this total phobia of heights.

okay this time round...
i convinced myself to take some rides.
i'm never doing that again. =x

the nights were spent shopping + eating..
ximenting and shilin night market..

actually also never buy alot of stuff.

to he who said that taiwan girls are hot..
u're so damn right.
they have this superb dress sense.
its so like japan.
