they also had these really cool seats

but the bus is really first class!

i've to admit.
school is a madhouse.

work is inversely proportional to rest,
so on the average, i sleep about 4 hrs a day.

after a very blue monday,
and a i-nearly-died tuesday,

i already have..

2 wikis to contribute to,
2 projects,
2 big assignments,
2 course readings

and a hell lot of other things to do.
damn the damned projects, again.

wikis are sort of first come first serve.

which means the entire cohort
will fight to contribute meaningfully.

terrible.

thankfully,
the remaining 3 days were pretty good.

after going to classes, mugging,
writing and going mad from
8:30am - 7pm..

we decided to relax.
and celebrate tracy & eileen's birthday.

got my haircut
and visited grandma. =)

thank GOD for a taxi,

had a great worship,

i've been wanting for oh so long.

after that we had a cool debrief
for youth camp.

no matter what happened in the camp,
no matter how crappy we felt,
or how disappointed or frustrated we were,
this camp was meant to be this way.

i think we ended up learning a lot.
not only the campers,
but also our committee.

and GOD's presence and glory
was magnified through our imperfections.

if i were to have this youth camp again.
i wouldn't change a single thing.

we went to airport for badminton.

last night my antique crt monitor
went up in smoke.

literally.
the house still smells of..

today went to sim lim..
bought a new lcd monitor

den i went to church.
today's cell is special to me.

its the first time i said it.

however distorted and brief,
the load feels much lighter now.

i met a lady named fayth after cell.
an insurance agent.

we ended up talking about JESUS.
she shared how she 'shun fu' (obey GOD)

actually i remember more of that
than the insurance plan. =x

after that we went to watch zohan.

went to sentosa for recce.

ended in a tour of maxwell
and ann siang hill. =x

went to st. wilfred field today..

soccer with my platoon.
okay i rarely play.

in fact, almost never.

so obviously i suck at it.
thankfully my platoon understands.

went to ikea to get my furniture.

hmm lucky i was prepared.
more or less decided.

so after a quick browse..
we went to the self-serve section.

now den i know how much it sucks..
to have to carry your own boxes
of flat, prepacked furniture,
even though we had trolleys.

some were (real) heavy.
took both me and dad to manage.

i wonder how petite ladies would fare.

end up still had to use two trolleys. =/
we figured ikea delivery would be good.

i've been a naughty boy.

kat picked us up from camp ytd.
so we went to clementi eat
zi bao ji (paper chicken).

den at night go grandlink play lan.
until super super late.

i couldn't get up in time for service.

had cell den went suntec carls jr dinner.

i booked out of camp..

last saturday...

went down to far east..

den met hermy, jj + clay..
had dinner at cineleisure chicago steakhouse.

the food totally sucks. really. big time.

after dat we walked back to lido..
and watched charlie wilson's war.

not bad.. but abit like history lesson.

last sunday...

morning went church..

received super bad news.
my weekend originally till tuesday..

has been cut short to tonight.

i went to gmas. chop chop. ate some pulot hitam.

had dinner at msquare cafe cartel..

sent her back and took cab to camp.
reached 12:10am.

nearly got screwed.

met jamie + bren at ps for dinner.
shop around awhile den we ate at..

manhattan fish market.

after dat we had ice monster for dessert..
den it was back to camp for me.

horrible. tiring. frustrating.

we had minimal sleep this week.
cos we needed to prepare our stores..

and i was sent for driving orientation lessons.
which was super tiring.

left hand drive for taiwan..
islandwide where we drove from camp to changi.
changi to camp.. again and again.

i had to go for two medical appts..
which also took up alot of time.

and had an in camp dental checkup. =/

friday

supposed to book out in the morning..

but end up so much stuff to do.
only left at noon.

came back home and concuss.

at night met bin, johan, weien, lijuan + cy..
went to watch change the world at tm.

lucky its not related to the first two movies.
cause i never watch. =x

tried to get the survivor promo video done..
but i just can't convert it. =(

saturday

spent the entire morning fiddling with the video.
haha. and it worked!

went to church in the afternoon for a seminar.
den also tried to play the promo video.. and..

it worked again. =)

first time i use movie maker too. haha.
hope it shows fine on sunday.

in the evening went gmas and aunt's place.

back from a week-long exercise..

gosh it was mighty screwed up.
lost alot of weight this week.

our operations area was super sandy.

and my vehicle was coated with sand.
inside and outside.

sand particles blanketed
everything inside the vehicle.

including me.

recovery and cleanup was a nightmare.
especially cleaning my weapon.

reach camp at 2am last night.
so much stuff to do. end up didn't sleep.

evening mum bought dinner back.

den midnight yq came to pick me up.

gmas place for reunion dinner!

our family gathers every sunday..
so reunion also just like another dinner.

but mum was sian and dad had no kaki there.

so end up we went back home..

i went to three of my relatives house..

guess what i did back in camp?

1) buy lunch from camp canteen
2) eat lunch.. change.. take a nap
3) wake up.. play board game
4) own everyone at monopoly
5) play mahjong
6) prepare for steamboat
7) lao yu sheng
8) had our platoon reunion dinner
9) drink. eat. drink. eat.
10) play dumb games to finish leftovers
11) drink. play dumb games. talk cock.
12) shower and sleep.

and this morning when i woke up?

1) had 5bx.. then breakfast.
2) went back to sleep.
3) got up and went for cny celebrations.
4) play silly station games and win points.
5) lao yu sheng + eat cny goodies
6) use the points we won to auction stuff
7) managed to auction a 29" tv
8) clean up.. change and book out.

and you thought i was booking in for..?
