expectations
society has its expectations.
individuals have their own.
it is human to expect more from
those in positions of power,
those close to us,
those we love,
those who love us,
and those we choose to trust.
but they're human after all.
i am not implying that we should
lower our standards and expectations.
but with great expectations,
come great disappointment.
we should be ready to face that.
