last monday

met jamie + bren at ps for dinner.
shop around awhile den we ate at..

manhattan fish market.

after dat we had ice monster for dessert..
den it was back to camp for me.

week in camp

horrible. tiring. frustrating.

we had minimal sleep this week.
cos we needed to prepare our stores..

and i was sent for driving orientation lessons.
which was super tiring.

left hand drive for taiwan..
islandwide where we drove from camp to changi.
changi to camp.. again and again.

i had to go for two medical appts..
which also took up alot of time.

and had an in camp dental checkup. =/

friday

supposed to book out in the morning..

but end up so much stuff to do.
only left at noon.

came back home and concuss.

at night met bin, johan, weien, lijuan + cy..
went to watch change the world at tm.

lucky its not related to the first two movies.
cause i never watch. =x

tried to get the survivor promo video done..
but i just can't convert it. =(

saturday

spent the entire morning fiddling with the video.
haha. and it worked!

went to church in the afternoon for a seminar.
den also tried to play the promo video.. and..

it worked again. =)

first time i use movie maker too. haha.
hope it shows fine on sunday.

in the evening went gmas and aunt's place.
tmr afternoon book in le. =(

another exercise.. ugh.

on this sunday

got up at 6am to send mum off.
surprised i could get up.

back to zzz..

went to church after that.
hmm. i think the pastor today..
also preaches at my parents church.

wad a small world.

after service had a short meeting..
den went to ecp to recce..
for the survivor event we planning..

from ecp we rush down to airport..
play badminton. =)

desert storm

back from a week-long exercise..

gosh it was mighty screwed up.
lost alot of weight this week.

our operations area was super sandy.

and my vehicle was coated with sand.
inside and outside.

sand particles blanketed
everything inside the vehicle.

including me.

recovery and cleanup was a nightmare.
especially cleaning my weapon.

reach camp at 2am last night.
so much stuff to do. end up didn't sleep.

i k.o. once i was home. as in really k.o.

evening mum bought dinner back.

den midnight yq came to pick me up.
went bugis fusion shoot pool.

new discovery:
that counter girl is attached. aww.

anw came back not long ago.
6am tmr gotta send mum to airport.

chinese new year eve

gmas place for reunion dinner!

went earlier to help gma cook..
its more like mess up her kitchen.

our family gathers every sunday..
so reunion also just like another dinner.
haha.. just that its steamboat!

aft dinner supposed to go georges..
but mum was sian and dad had no kaki there.

so end up we went back home..

we opened the inniskillin at last..
good to the very last drop. =p

chinese new year day 1

its the same routine again! lol.

gmas place first!
the cheng teng and sugary sweets.

had new year goodies overload.
only at my first stop. =x

after that went to grandaunt's place..
we played wii games la.

dad kept trying to win my cousin. funny.

den me and an uncle got tricked to play..
the evil, muscle damaging, wii boxing.

i nearly fainted halfway.

okay after a good hour or so of wii-ing..
we headed to my mum's side..

my aunt place first..
they got a golden retriever. omg since when?

handsome!

haha den to my uncle's place..
where we ate popiah.

my late gma style one.

new year is the time we put on weight. x)

after that to my youngest uncle place..
den home sweet home!

chinese new year day 2

continue the bai-nian-ing.

i went to three of my relatives house..
in less than 10 mins travelling time total.

they all stay in the same block, same unit.
just different floor. =p

oh and btw..
do u know that my entire paternal family..
stays super close to each other?

like now i can just walk to.. er..
my gmas, aunts, uncles house.. in like 5 mins?

anw ended up at my aunt's place..
play cards and mahjong.

my luck at cards is extremely good this year.
*money money money* =x

aft dat i went bishan to meet up with tt23.

bren's place - cards + mahjong + lots of fun.

i reached home like 7am the next day. =/

chinese new year day 3

got dragged out of bed at 11am..
i nearly killed my parents. =x

went to uncle james (dad's boss) house..
he's one of those eccentric friends. haha.

he even organized us for a group photo.
lol. it was zuper funny.

after that they went tung lok for lunch!

but i agree to take sy+han out for show..
so.. there goes my lunchie. =(

we went to msquare.. and guess wad?
the cinema booking system was down. &!@^#*!^

a carls jr meal later..
they got the system back online.. -.-

we watched kung fu dunk..

and even tho i'm not a fan of bball or jay..
its a super nice show. =)

aft the show we went changi airport walk walk.
explore abit of the new t3..

had dinner at fish&co.

sent them back.. pillow fight..
and went home at 2am. *exhausted*

chinese new year day 4

went to church today! =)

after service we went to buy prawn noochies.
ok la. not exactly wad i like.

after dat went back home, pack my stuff.

den went to yongjie's place at sembawang..
thanks for the steamboat dinner!

super fabulous cos there was alot of food.
and the soup was goooooood.

after that book in liao..
the end of the new year mood..

as the year of the pig comes to a close..

i wanna say..
life is like a see saw.

it has its ups and downs.
sometimes we really wanna give up.

but my friends..

camp cny celebrations

booked in to camp yesterday afternoon..

guess what i did back in camp?

1) buy lunch from camp canteen
2) eat lunch.. change.. take a nap
3) wake up.. play board game
4) own everyone at monopoly
5) play mahjong
6) prepare for steamboat
7) lao yu sheng
8) had our platoon reunion dinner
9) drink. eat. drink. eat.
10) play dumb games to finish leftovers
11) drink. play dumb games. talk cock.
12) shower and sleep.

and this morning when i woke up?

1) had 5bx.. then breakfast.
2) went back to sleep.
3) got up and went for cny celebrations.
4) play silly station games and win points.
5) lao yu sheng + eat cny goodies
6) use the points we won to auction stuff
7) managed to auction a 29" tv
8) clean up.. change and book out.

and you thought i was booking in for..?
*smug* xD

spring cleaning

cleared the cobwebs today. =)

threw out big bags of stuff.
there are still some more to go.

i like the way i arranged the stuff.
no more hiding stuff in boxes anymore.

as very extensive retail therapy.

made myself a new pair of specs..
bought some clothes.. esp those for new year.
(and fyi jh - i didn't get something extreme =p)

den i got some totally redundant stuff.

went shopping at bugis today..

tried the yella fellas. xD
had poutine. cheese + beef sauce..
it was delicious imho.

but at $4.90 it was abit pricey.

the crowd was terrible. =/

i passed my ppcdl theory.
with flying sailing colors. xD

mugged the whole week in camp.
so many things to study..
i even stuck notes on my cupboard.

and i'm so freaking happy i passed.
abit gl but.. 30/30.
